The NSW Southern District Country
Border Collie Club was founded in 1992 after a meeting of dedicated and
enthusiastic breeders from the southern country region of New South Wales.
The club is a non profit organisation focussed on the promotion of the pure bred
Border Collie breed in conformation, obedience, agility, herding and most
importantly as a loyal family member. The club started as a social club
with a view to offering opportunities and facilities to country breeders and
exhibitors from the southern region of New South Wales but we now enjoy a
membership from all parts of NSW as well as interstate.
In 2009, our club had the honour of hosting the
2nd Border Collie
National over three days in March, attracting an amazing entry of 822 Border
Collies across all disciplines. The National attracted exhibitors from all over
Australia and visitors and enthusiasts from many parts of the world. The
event will always hold a special place in our history.

On the last weekend of September each year, the club
holds a weekend of double championship shows, obedience, agility and jumping
trials at historic Berrima in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW and we are
typically blessed with wonderful weather, spacious grounds and warm hospitality.
